\u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesi T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi\u2019ni bitirdikten sonra ABD\u2019ye gidip ard\u0131ndan Paris\u2019te uzmanl\u0131k e\u011fitimine ba\u015flad\u0131. Buradan kat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 3. D\u00fcnya Gen\u00e7lik ve \u00d6\u011frenci Festivali s\u0131ras\u0131nda, A\u011fustos 1951\u2019de Berlin\u2019de N\u00e2z\u0131m Hikmet ile tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131 ve TKP\u2019nin yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131 ve yurt i\u00e7i y\u00f6neticileri aras\u0131nda kuryelik g\u00f6revi \u00fcstlendi. Bu \u015fekilde T\u00fcrkiye\u2019ye gittikten sonra, \u0130stanbul\u2019dan Paris\u2019e d\u00f6nerken \u00fczerinde 36 sayfal\u0131k bir raporla yakaland\u0131. Bu rapor TKP liderlerinden \u015eefik H\u00fcsn\u00fc Deymer ve Re\u015fat Fuat Baraner\u2019in Sevim Tar\u0131\u2019dan istedikleri yaz\u0131l\u0131 faaliyet raporu idi. B\u00f6ylece TKP\u2019ye y\u00f6nelik geni\u015f \u00e7apl\u0131 \u201c1951 Tevkifat\u0131\u201d ba\u015flad\u0131.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1957\u2019de TKP y\u00f6neticilerinden Mihri Belli ile evlendi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kom\u00fcnistlikten h\u00fck\u00fcml\u00fc hekimlerin tababet etme hakk\u0131 al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in, 1960\u2019l\u0131 y\u0131llarda Cezayir\u2019de doktorluk yapmak \u00fczere 1964\u2019te \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n\u0131 da al\u0131p yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1966\u2019da T\u00fcrkiye\u2019ye geri d\u00f6nd\u00fc. T\u0130P y\u00f6netiminin Sosyalist Devrim (SD) tezine kar\u015f\u0131 Mill\u00ee Demokratik Devrim (MDD) tezini savunan muhalefet hareketi i\u00e7inde yer ald\u0131 ve bu d\u00f6nemde Marksist klasiklerin bir\u00e7o\u011funun T\u00fcrk\u00e7e \u00e7evirisini yapt\u0131. 12 Mart d\u00f6neminde tekrar tutukland\u0131 ve 3 y\u0131l cezaevinde kald\u0131. 12 Eyl\u00fcl darbesinden sonra tekrar yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131.
