Bu da hi\u00e7 y\u00fcks\u00fcn\u00fclecek bir \u015fey de\u011fil. Ger\u00e7ekten de, neredeyse b\u00fct\u00fcn tarihi boyunca \u201cdevletinin yan\u0131nda durmay\u0131\u201d en b\u00fcy\u00fck vazife bellemi\u015f, pozisyonunu her seferinde y\u00f6n de\u011fi\u015ftiren siyaset r\u00fczg\u00e2r\u0131na bakarak saptam\u0131\u015f, k\u00e2h \u0131rk\u00e7\u0131\/ Turanc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n, k\u00e2h Kemalist laikli\u011fin, k\u00e2h cemaat\/ tarikatlar\u0131n sultas\u0131na girmi\u015f, en de\u011ferli unsurlar\u0131n\u0131 \u201cyukar\u0131dan gelen buyruk\u201d \u00fczerine bir gecede b\u00fcnyesinden at\u0131p, mahkeme kap\u0131lar\u0131nda s\u00fcr\u00fcnmelerini ihbarc\u0131l\u0131kla desteklemi\u015f, en vasat\/ mediyokratik, en \u201cevet efendim\u201dci elemanlar\u0131 her daim ba\u015f tac\u0131 etmi\u015f, b\u00fcnyesindeki cinsel taciz, intih\u00e2l gibi etik su\u00e7lara kar\u015f\u0131 g\u0131k\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7\u0131karmayan bir kurumun \u201ci\u00e7erisinde\u201d olmak, matah bir \u015fey mi?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ya \u201cT\u00fcrk d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce d\u00fcnyas\u0131\u201dndaki yeri? \u2026 \u201cD\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce insan\u0131\u201d ya da daha do\u011fru bir deyi\u015fle \u201cayd\u0131n\u201d olmay\u0131 her zaman s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131 i\u00e7inde do\u011fdu\u011fu ve yurtta\u015fl\u0131k ba\u011flar\u0131yla ba\u011fl\u0131 oldu\u011fu \u201cdevletin\/ulusun s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131 a\u015fan bir ufka sahip olmakla \u00f6zde\u015f g\u00f6r\u00fcr\u00fcm oldum olas\u0131\u2026 Bu nedenledir ki, Be\u015fik\u00e7i\u2019yi \u201cT\u00fcrk d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce d\u00fcnyas\u0131\u201dn\u0131n i\u00e7inde de g\u00f6rm\u00fcyorum. \u201cBir T\u00fcrk m\u00fctefekkiri olarak \u0130smail Be\u015fik\u00e7i\u201d gibi bir etiketin ne denli abs\u00fcrd olaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnebiliyor musunuz?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ama hemen belirteyim, tam da bu \u201cd\u0131\u015f\u0131nda olma\u201d h\u00e2li nedeniyle Be\u015fik\u00e7i bir ayd\u0131nd\u0131r, hem de iyi bir ayd\u0131n. Dr. (daha da k\u00f6t\u00fcs\u00fc \u201cOrd. Prof. Dr.\u201d) unvan\u0131 tak\u0131l\u0131 olmas\u0131 gerekmez. Bu co\u011frafyada ayd\u0131nlar\u0131n Akademia ile bar\u0131\u015f\u0131k olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 vurgulam\u0131\u015ft\u0131m\u2026 \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc T\u00fcrkiye Cumhuriyeti \u00fcniversitelerinin tarihini g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcnde bulundurdu\u011funuzda [yaln\u0131zca AKP iktidar\u0131 s\u00fcresince 132 (kamu ve vak\u0131f) \u00fcniversitenin kuruldu\u011fu unutulmamal\u0131] belki olduk\u00e7a s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 bir \u00f6zerkli\u011fin hayata ge\u00e7irilebildi\u011fi 60\u2019l\u0131 y\u0131llar parantezi d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda \u00fcniversite neredeyse anti-entelekt\u00fcel bir mek\u00e2n! \u0130smail Be\u015fik\u00e7i\u2019nin, Fikret Ba\u015fkaya\u2019n\u0131n, Haluk Gerger\u2019in, ya da \u201cresmi g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u201de meydan okuyan, ters d\u00fc\u015fen, ayk\u0131r\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fler \u00f6ne s\u00fcren herhangi bir ayd\u0131n\u0131n T\u00fcrkiye Cumhuriyeti \u00fcniversitelerinin herhangi birinde, \u00f6rne\u011fin emeklili\u011fini alacak kadar uzun bir s\u00fcre bar\u0131nmas\u0131 m\u00fcmk\u00fcn g\u00f6z\u00fckm\u00fcyor. Bunun kan\u0131t\u0131, 1971 darbesi zemininde ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen \u201cBalyoz Harekat\u0131\u201dyla \u00fcniversiteyle ili\u015fkisi kesilen, tutuklanan akademisyenler, 1980 darbesinin 1402\u2019likleri, AKP iktidar\u0131n\u0131n \u201cBar\u0131\u015f Akademisyenleri\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tabii, s\u00f6z\u00fcn\u00fc etti\u011fim \u201cAkademi\u201dden d\u0131\u015flanmay\u0131, bir \u201cd\u00fc\u015fk\u00fcnl\u00fck\u201dtense bir onur payesi olarak g\u00f6rmek gerek\u2026 Bu ba\u011flamda Be\u015fik\u00e7i\u2019ninki, hi\u00e7 ku\u015fku yok ki bir \u201centelekt\u00fcel direni\u015f prati\u011fi\u201ddir: yaln\u0131zca Akademi\u2019ye kar\u015f\u0131 de\u011fil, ayn\u0131 zamanda ve daha \u00e7ok, Devlet\u2019e ve \u201cResmi \u0130deoloji\u201dye kar\u015f\u0131\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de sosyal bilimler, kabul etmek gerekir ki daha ilk ad\u0131mlar\u0131nda bir \u201culusal kurulu\u015f\u201d fikrine tabidir. Bu durum sosyal bilimlerin Le Play\/ Durkheim paradigmalar\u0131n\u0131n y\u00f6r\u00fcngesine girdi\u011fi 19. y\u00fczy\u0131l sonlar\u0131ndan beri, b\u00f6yledir: Osmanl\u0131 \u201c\u00e7okuluslulu\u011fu\u201dndan, T\u00fcrk\u00e7\u00fcl\u00fc\u011fe ge\u00e7i\u015f evresine denk d\u00fc\u015fer sosyal bilimlerin bu co\u011frafyaya giri\u015fi. Cumhuriyetin kurulu\u015f y\u0131llar\u0131nda ise kendini homojen bir kendilik olarak \u201cT\u00fcrk ulusunun bi\u00e7imlendirilmesi\u201dne adayacakt\u0131r. \u00dcniversite \u00f6zerklikten (ve dolay\u0131s\u0131yla da bilimin \u201colmazsa olmaz\u201d\u0131 olan d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnden) o denli uzakt\u0131r ki, Dar\u00fclf\u00fcnun \u00e7\u0131kart\u0131lan bir yasayla bir gecede kapat\u0131l\u0131r, ciddi bir tasfiyenin ard\u0131ndan yerine (dikkat: Maarif Vekaleti\u2019ne tabi) \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesi a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131r!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B\u00f6ylesi ko\u015fullarda, \u201c\u0130mtiyazs\u0131z, s\u0131n\u0131fs\u0131z, kayna\u015fm\u0131\u015f kitle\u201d s\u00f6ylemi, ancak \u00fcniversitelerde g\u00f6reli bir \u00f6zerkle\u015fmenin ya\u015fand\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve sosyal bilimlerin \u201cplanl\u0131 kalk\u0131nma\u201d hedefine ko\u015fuldu\u011fu 1960\u2019l\u0131 y\u0131llarda a\u015f\u0131nmaya ba\u015flayacakt\u0131r: ama bu a\u015f\u0131nma \u201cs\u0131n\u0131flar\u0131n varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n kabul\u00fc\u201dn\u00fcn \u00f6tesine ge\u00e7emez. \u201cT\u00fcrk\u201d kavram\u0131 bir tabudur, ancak ve ancak y\u00fcceltilmek, g\u00fczellenmek i\u00e7in telaffuz edilir, \u00fczerinde d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmek, yani \u201culusun farkl\u0131 ve m\u00fcecanis olmayan unsurlardan meydana gelmi\u015f olabilece\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmek dahi yasakt\u0131r. \u201cNe mutlu T\u00fcrk\u00fcm diyene\u201d dictum\u2019unun mefhumu muhalifini \u201cVeyl T\u00fcrk\u00fcm demeyene\u201d olarak okumak gerekir &#8211; ki t\u00fcm bir \u00fcniversite camias\u0131 ve bir avu\u00e7 sosyalistin d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda t\u00fcm okur-yazarlar taifesi bu okumay\u0131 yapmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be\u015fik\u00e7i\u2019nin \u00f6nemi, gencecik bir ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131 olarak aralar\u0131na kat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 Alikan a\u015fireti mensuplar\u0131n\u0131n farkl\u0131 bir dilde konu\u015ftu\u011fu, farkl\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcrel \u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcler sergiledi\u011fine ili\u015fkin g\u00f6zlemlerini mant\u0131ksal sonucuna vard\u0131rmas\u0131 ve bunu dillendirmekten \u00e7ekinmemesindedir. O zamanki adland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131yla \u201cDo\u011fu Sorunu\u201dnun -ki bu \u201csorun\u201d bir geri kalm\u0131\u015fl\u0131k\/ geri b\u0131rakt\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015fl\u0131k, feodal kal\u0131nt\u0131lardan kurtulamamak olarak alg\u0131lanmaktayd\u0131- ger\u00e7ekte bir \u201cK\u00fcrt sorunu\u201d oldu\u011funu, T.C. devletinin K\u00fcrtlerde \u201culusal uyan\u0131\u015f\u201d\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcne ge\u00e7mek \u00fczere onlar\u0131 ay\u0131r\u0131mc\u0131l\u0131\u011fa tabi tuttu\u011funu, bast\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve feodalite ko\u015fullar\u0131na mahk\u00fbm k\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 dile getirmekten \u00e7ekinmemi\u015ftir. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131nda vard\u0131\u011f\u0131 sonu\u00e7 budur, ve bilimsel ahl\u00e2k\u0131, sonu\u00e7lar\u0131 nereye var\u0131rsa vars\u0131n, bunu y\u00fcksek sesle ifade etmekle y\u00fck\u00fcmlendirmektedir onu\u2026 Bir ba\u015fka deyi\u015fle, bu \u00fclkede sosyal bilimler alan\u0131nda \u201cK\u00fcrt\u201d s\u00f6zc\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc arkaik ya da folklorik bir \u00f6ge olarak de\u011fil, ulusal bir realite olarak ilk dile getiren, O olmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ondan sonras\u0131\u2026 Ondan sonras\u0131 k\u0131yamet\u2026 Israr\u0131, direngenli\u011fi, tevazu ve s\u00fck\u00fbnetini hi\u00e7 bozmayan inat\u00e7\u0131 vaz ge\u00e7mezli\u011fi ile Be\u015fik\u00e7i, devlet indinde \u00f6nce bir \u201cnefret nesnesi\u201d olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f, akademik \u00e7evrelerdeyse uzun bir s\u00fcre inatla g\u00f6rmezden gelinmi\u015ftir. \u00dcniversiteden kovulma, birbiri ard\u0131 s\u0131ra tutuklanmalar, bask\u0131lar, i\u015fkenceler\u2026 \u201cAnne bak, kral \u00e7\u0131plak\u201d demekten alakoyamaz onu.. Ve bizatihi o \u0131srar, o diren\u00e7, o vaz ge\u00e7meyi\u015f, sonunda Devleti \u201cpes\u201d ettirecek ve sekiz kez girip \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131, \u00f6mr\u00fcn\u00fcn toplam 17 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131 ge\u00e7irdi\u011fi cezaevinden 1999\u2019da tahliye edilecektir. G\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerinden ne polis ifadesinde ne de duru\u015fmalar s\u0131ras\u0131nda bir dirhem taviz vermeden\u2026 Mahpusa d\u00fc\u015fmeden \u00f6nce ne s\u00f6yl\u00fcyorsa, i\u00e7erideyken de, d\u0131\u015far\u0131 \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131ktan sonra da ayn\u0131 \u015feyleri tekrar etmekten bir ad\u0131m geri durmadan. \u00dcstelik de bu s\u00fcrenin b\u00fcy\u00fck b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde yaln\u0131zd\u0131r\u2026 Ad\u0131 (K\u00fcrt yurtsever \u00e7evreler d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda) pek telaffuz edilmez\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130smail Be\u015fik\u00e7i\u2019ye sol \u00e7evrelerde daha yayg\u0131n bir \u015fekilde sahip \u00e7\u0131k\u0131lmas\u0131, K\u00fcrt hareketinin 1990\u2019lardaki y\u00fckseli\u015fiyle olanakl\u0131 h\u00e2le gelecektir. Bu hareket, ayn\u0131 zamanda Kemalizm\u2019in sol i\u00e7erisinde daha yayg\u0131n bir bi\u00e7imde sorgulanmas\u0131n\u0131n kap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Tabii bu geli\u015fmede \u201cS\u0131n\u0131f\u201d paradigmas\u0131n\u0131n h\u0131zla geriledi\u011fi postmodern d\u00f6nemecin bu co\u011frafyada K\u00fcrt, kad\u0131n, \u0130sl\u00e2m, Alev\u00ee vb. kimlik eksenli vurgular\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnsel evrende \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131karmas\u0131n\u0131n etkisini de g\u00f6z ard\u0131 etmemek gerek. \u00d6zetle, Be\u015fik\u00e7i\u2019nin vazge\u00e7mez, \u00f6d\u00fcn vermez duru\u015fu bir yandan Kemalizm\u2019in sorgulanmas\u0131n\u0131 tetiklerken, bir yandan da \u201czaman\u0131n ruhu\u201d \u0130smail Be\u015fik\u00e7i\u2019ye y\u00f6nelik daha \u201ctahamm\u00fcll\u00fc\u201d bir ortam\u0131 sa\u011flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r, diyebiliriz\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Geriye bak\u0131nca insan \u015funu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmeden edemiyor\u2026 Ku\u015fkusuz ki \u0130smail Hoca bir sosyologdan ibaret de\u011fil. Onu Be\u015fik\u00e7i yapan, sosyolojik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131ndan \u00e7ok, \u00f6d\u00fcn vermeyen etik pozisyonu ve entelekt\u00fcel sorumlulu\u011fu\u2026 Resmi s\u00f6ylem \u201cKart-kurt-k\u00fcrt\u201dten \u201cK\u00fcrt karde\u015flerimiz\u201de evrilmi\u015fse, bunu \u00f6nemli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde o pozisyon ve o sorumlulu\u011fa bor\u00e7luyuz\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu ba\u011flamda\u201cSar\u0131 Hoca\u201ddan al\u0131nacak en \u00f6nemli ders, bir ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131n\u0131n, bir bilim insan\u0131n\u0131n (ya da ne bileyim, bir sanat\u00e7\u0131n\u0131n, bir gazetecinin vb.) \u201cresmi ya da egemen ideoloji\u201dnin (bu ikisinin farkl\u0131 \u015feyler olabildi\u011fini T\u00fcrkiye deneyimi g\u00f6stermektedir), devletin ve\/veya h\u00e2kim s\u0131n\u0131flar\u0131n, ya da g\u00fc\u00e7 odaklar\u0131n\u0131n empoze ettiklerinin d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnebilme yetisine sahip \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fidir. Duru\u015fuyla, \u0131srar\u0131yla, gerekti\u011finde savunduklar\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 da durabilmesiyle, Be\u015fik\u00e7i bu dersi bu co\u011frafyada en iyi vermi\u015f ki\u015fidir. G\u00f6rd\u00fcklerimizi, ara\u015ft\u0131rma evrenimize dahil ettiklerimizi resmi ve\/ veya egemen ideolojinin, hatta daha genel bir dil kullanay\u0131m, \u201cbirilerinin\u201d g\u00f6rmemizi istedikleriyle s\u0131n\u0131rlarsak, \u201celmalar d\u00fc\u015fer\u201d varg\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 tekrar etmekle s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 kal\u0131r\u0131z, sadece; \u201cyer\u00e7ekimi yasas\u0131\u201dna asla ula\u015famay\u0131z.
